AltaMed Health Services is seeking a Senior System Administrator to analyze, design, implement, administer, and maintain IT infrastructure including virtual systems, servers, storage, and backups.

You will support Network, Security, Enterprise Applications and Data Engineering, and contribute to selecting future hardware and software upgrades. A positive impact on our growing digital environment is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systems administration or higher.
• 2+ years in designing and implementing new IT systems and applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, CIS, or MIS preferred.
• Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, CompTIA, or other certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, implement, administer and maintain IT infrastructure (virtual systems, servers, storage, backups).
• Assist other teams including Network, Security, Enterprise Applications and Data Engineering.
• Participate in technology selection for future hardware and software upgrades.

Job Overview

This position is responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, administering, and maintaining IT infrastructure computer systems, including, but not limited to, virtual systems, servers, storage, and backups. Additional responsibilities include assisting other teams, including, but not limited to, Network, Security, Enterprise Applications, and Data Engineering. The Senior System Administrator will participate in the technological selection of future hardware and software to upgrade the existing IT infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 7 plus years of experience in a Systems Administration or higher role.
• Minimum of 2 years in a role designing and implementing new IT Systems and applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems preferred.
• Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, CompTIA, or other certifications are preferred.

Compensation

$103,084.80 - $128,856.00 annually
