Senior System Software Integration Engineer - Newton, MA, 02466

We are currently seeking an ambitious Senior System Software Integration Engineer (Contractor) to join our Endovascular Robotics division within Advanced Therapies. As a global leader in robotic-assisted vascular interventions, we aim to revolutionize neurovascular procedures through endovascular robotics, image guidance, and dedicated devices, ultimately improving patient outcomes and access to care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Software installation and integration, including hardware and network configuration.
  • Performing system rework and maintenance after updates, troubleshooting, and resolving integration issues.
  • Supporting software project management, developing configuration instructions, SBOM, and managing test tools for manufacturing transfer.
  • Configuring and managing network settings, ensuring security and proper IP configuration.
  • Handling system tasks across Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows platforms.
  • Authoring and conducting system validation and testing to ensure performance and stability.
  • Collaborating with software developers, engineers, and QA teams to support integration and resolve issues.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 7 years of experience in system software integration, preferably within medical devices or regulated environments.
  • Proven experience with software installation, system rework, and integration.
  • Strong networking knowledge and experience with Linux and Windows OS.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure), virtualization, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, systems analysis, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
