Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Senior System Software Engineer for the Simulation Software team to accelerate early software bring-up on pre-silicon platforms for new chips and programs.

You will develop scripts and tooling, verify platform readiness, and enable engineering teams to debug and scale simulation environments using C/C++, Python, SystemC/VDK on Linux, with emphasis on reliability and developer experience.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or equivalent in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong C/C++ and Python programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with SystemC, VDK, or similar simulation platforms.
• Experience with system software bring-up and platform software validation.

Responsibilities

• Drive early software bring-up on simulation platforms for new chip and platform programs.
• Verify platform readiness and validate software functionality in pre-silicon development environments.
• Develop scripts, tools, and automation to improve productivity and scale for simulation-based development.
• Enable module teams to use simulation platforms effectively for development, debugging, and validation.
• Debug complex issues spanning software, platform configuration, infrastructure, and simulation interactions.
