Tetra Tech AMT is seeking a Senior System Safety Engineer to join our enterprise safety team and help implement aviation operations, including airspace, air traffic control procedures, and automated systems used in air traffic management.
You will perform safety analyses and safety assessments compliant with FAA SMS policies, contribute to design of automation tools for risk analysis, and communicate findings clearly to FAA management and stakeholders.
Tetra Tech AMT is looking for a highly skilled Senior System Safety Engineer to join our growing enterprise safety team. This role is integral to implementing sophisticated aviation operations, including aviation related airspace, air traffic control procedures, and automated systems used in air traffic management. As a Senior System Safety Engineer, you will participate in safety analyses and review safety assessments that conform to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) safety management system (SMS) policies and guidelines. The candidate should be able to contribute to the design of automation tools used for safety risk analysis. The ideal candidate will have awareness of aviation hazard and occurrence taxonomies used in incident/accident reports related to aircraft, air traffic control, and airports.

Salary: $150,000 to $160,000 annually. Compensation is based on relevant experience and qualifications.
