Job summary

Draper is seeking a Distinguished System Requirements Engineer for its Clearfield, Utah location. The role focuses on defining, analyzing, and verifying system and subsystem requirements within MBSE and digital engineering.

Requires collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and leadership in requirements management throughout the lifecycle. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or mathematics, with 10–15 years in systems engineering and experience in MBSE.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field.
10–15 years experience in systems engineering with emphasis in requirements engineering.
Experience with MBSE/DE tools or methods.
Ability to analyze and balance requirements across programs.
Security clearance capability preferred or obtainable.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, schedule and participate in requirements assessments.
Perform strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management and interface design.
Conduct requirements engineering, scheduling, reliability, development, maintenance and analysis for training.
Lead large multidisciplinary teams and align toward program goals.
Mentor and develop depth for their area of expertise.
