Job summary

Draper is seeking a System Requirements Engineer (DMTS) to define, analyze, and verify system and subsystem requirements within MBSE/digital engineering. Elicit mission needs, develop CONOPS, model functions, and manage requirements through the life cycle.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering (Master’s preferred) with 10–15 years in systems engineering; Utah-based, full-time with a base salary range of $100,000–$275,000 and benefits. Security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

  • 10–15 years of systems engineering experience with emphasis on requirements engineering
  • Experience with MBSE and/or digital engineering tools
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor others
  • Familiarity with system-level modeling and requirements management

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, schedule and participate in requirements assessments.
  • Lead strategic planning, project management and interface design activities.
  • Conduct requirements engineering, verification, and test strategy development.
  • Lead large multidisciplinary teams and align toward program goals.
  • Mentor teammates and drive improvements across programs.
