Job summary

Draper is seeking a System Requirements Engineer (DMTS) to define, analyze, and verify system requirements within MBSE/digital engineering frameworks. You will shape design through requirement trees, use cases, and trades, enabling complex, multi-domain solutions across national challenges.

Requires a BS in engineering/physics/math and 10–15 years in systems engineering; a MS is preferred. Expect a competitive salary in Utah with potential clearance; salary range listed, base only.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of systems engineering experience with emphasis in requirements engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Experience with MBSE and digital engineering approaches.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage requirements workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in the requirements assessments.
• Perform strategic technical planning and project management.
• Lead large multidisciplinary teams and align toward program goals.
• Develop verification strategies, test design, and requirements management.
• Mentor and develop capability within the area.
• Identify and mitigate risks across programs.
• Collaborate to improve enterprise operations.
