Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior System Integration Analyst for our location in North Charleston, SC. The candidate will be responsible for systems integration using Red Hat, containerization tools, and network engineering in support of mission-critical programs.

The ideal candidate will have deep database experience (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL), Agile/Scrum/Kanban familiarity, and strong Windows and RHEL engineering skills, with containerization via Kubernetes and Docker.

Qualifications

• BS degree and nine years of experience; four years of additional experience in lieu of degree.
• Very strong Red Hat (RHEL8) skills.
• VM engineering with Hyper-V or VMware ESXi Workstation.
• Containerization with Kubernetes, Docker, or equivalent.
• Scripting in PowerShell, NSIS, VBScript, JavaScript, Batch, T-SQL, or HTML5.
• Pursuing an OS certification within 18 months from start date.

Responsibilities

• Work with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Support Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
• Engineering in Windows OS and Windows Server environments.
• Operate in RHEL OS engineering environments.
• Configure and support network interconnection using Cisco IOS or Netgear OS.

Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior System Integration Analyst for our location in North Charleston, SC.

NOTE

Travel is required up to 50 days annually, may include OCONUS travel based on customer requirements and mission needs.

The ideal candidate will be conscientious, industrious and a dedicated professional with the following skills:

• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL


• Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban


• Microsoft Windows 10/11 OS or Microsoft Windows Server OS engineering experience


• Experience in RHEL OS engineering environments


• Network interconnection, setup, and support experience using either Cisco IOS or Netgear OS

Qualifications

Required Experience and Education

• BS degree and nine (9) years of experience; four (4) years of additional experience in lieu of degree


• Highly experienced systems integration specialist with very strong Red Hat (RHEL8) skills


• Virtual machine engineering experience using Hyper-V or VMWare ESXi Workstation


• Pod containerization experience using Kubernetes, Docker, or other equivalent software


• Scripting experience in at least two of the following Powershell, NSIS, VBScript, Java script, Batch, T-SQL, HTML5


• Individual shall be working towards an Operating system certification within one and a half years from start date

• Must have an active TS/SCI clearance on the first day of work

Desired Experience

• Experience in support of a C5ISR PoR such as DCGS-MC All Source, DCGS-MC GEOINT, DCGS-MC SIGINT or similar. Experience may be achieved simultaneously


• Knowledge of OpenShift and prior Minotaur experience


• Experience with the ArcGIS Enterprise product suite and ArcGIS Client applications


• Experience with Global Command and Control System - Joint (GCCS-J)


• Engineering experience with Android OS
