Job summary

Hatched Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced System Engineer to support mission-critical operations at Fort Meade, MD. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining complex systems for classified programs, requiring strong architecture, integration, and analysis expertise.

The ideal candidate has extensive SE experience, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and the ability to work with cross-functional teams while ensuring security and risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 14 years as a System Engineer (SE) on relevant programs and contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline OR five (5) additional years of SE experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is required

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement system engineering solutions for high-priority government programs
• Analyze and optimize system performance, ensuring reliability and scalability
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and develop system roadmaps
• Oversee system security, compliance, and risk management
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring seamless operations
• Support software and hardware integration efforts
