Job summary

Supernova is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design of complex manufacturing machines and to drive subsystem and component development toward industrial scale.

You will collaborate with electronics, process, and software engineers, maintain CAD data and QA protocols, and define manufacturing technologies and supplier selections for robust production ramp-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role focused on product development, ideally industrial machinery.
• Proficiency in CAD.
• Experience in several manufacturing techniques.
• Proven track record in complex engineering projects.
• Experience transitioning to production ramp-up with operations teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Your mission

You will be a pivotal force in our Engineering Team. We are looking for a proactive Senior Systems Engineer to lead the lead the design of complex manufacturing machines. You will be responsible for critical design decisions, designing subsystems and components, process control strategies, defining software behaviors, creating QA protocols, all while closely collaborating in a cross-functional team with electronic, process, and software engineers. The starting point are working prototypes, your goal will be to bring them to an industrial level.

Key responsibilities:
