Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking an experienced System Analyst 4 in Richmond, VA to support evaluation and implementation of a new investment data platform.

The successful candidate will work with an Investment Decision Support (IDS) team to understand business data needs, document current processes, and help define future-state capabilities aligned with strategic investment objectives. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 7+ years of experience in: business analysis, requirements gathering and documentation, process improvement, technical process analysis, test planning and execution.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proven experience creating technical documentation such as requirements documents and process maps.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Document current-state business processes, systems, and data flows with stakeholders.
• Conduct interviews and sessions to gather requirements for a new investment data platform.
• Elicit, document, and manage business and technical requirements.
• Support design of future-state workflows and operating models.
• Develop understanding of existing investment systems, data architecture, integrations, and dependencies.
• Create and maintain docs: business requirements, process maps, assessments, data flow diagrams.
• Assist with data mapping, validation, and reconciliation during implementation.
• Develop and execute testing plans, including UAT.
• Support change management, training, and transition activities.
• Perform data analysis, reporting, and process improvement as the platform is deployed.
• Participate in additional strategic initiatives as assigned.
