Job summary
MY HR is seeking a System Analyst to gather and document clear, testable business requirements and communicate them to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role emphasizes on-site workdays Tuesday and Wednesday and requires living within an hour of Lansing, MI.
The System Analyst will act as ScrumMaster on campaign finance projects, coordinating with the PMO and vendors, and maintaining artifacts and documentation for State of Michigan initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years as Business/System Analyst
- Experience with Agile and Jira/Monday.com
- Ability to document requirements clearly and testable
- Mentor/teach mindset to support Agile
- Strong communication with stakeholders and vendors
Responsibilities
- Document clear, unambiguous business requirements using standard templates.
- Create Test plans with business to ensure repeatable processes.
- Document technical steps for maintenance planning.
- Lead requirement gatherings and coordinate with stakeholders per Communication Plan.
- Maintain project backlog and set priorities with the product owner.
- Ensure alignment with project scope and governance objectives.
- Support data governance and information handling guidelines.
- Collaborate with UI/UX, solution architects, DBAs, developers, QA testers.
