Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior System Administrator (Level 4) to support Proprietary Programs at Kennedy Space Center, FL or Seal Beach, CA. You will manage Linux/Solaris environments, implement RMF controls, and drive system reliability in an Agile setting.

Required TS/SCI clearance or recent Tier 5/SSBI, plus experience in virtualization (VMware ESXi) and cybersecurity. Relocation may be offered for eligible candidates; 1st shift onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance or recent Tier 5/S SBI and continuous vetting plan.
• Experience with Linux and/or Solaris: install, configure, troubleshoot, administer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee server/storage/workstation provisioning and disposition to support architecture.
• Provide complex problem resolution and root cause analysis for delivery systems.
• Participate in design, validation and CM of computing delivery systems.
• Administer user access and enforce security policies.
• Monitor system performance, ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
• Plan and coordinate system changes and integrations.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance services and efficiency.
• Mentor and train others; engage in on-the-job learning for Linux/cloud tech.
• Support programs in an Agile framework.
