Job summary

Horizon Industries Limited is seeking a Senior System Administrator (DISA) for remote work. The role requires an active Secret Clearance and extensive middleware and deployment expertise to support large-scale applications for DoD-related environments.

The candidate should have a BS/BA in a technical discipline, a track record of hands-on administration across multiple OSs, and experience with deployment, testing, and security.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of specialized information processing experience.
• Five years progressive experience administering middleware solutions (e.g., JBoss Fusion Middleware).
• Three years hands-on experience in application deployment, testing, tuning and security.
• Experience across various operating systems and additional programming languages.
• Experience in at least two projects in a large organization responsible for administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale application.

Required Qualifications

1. At least 10 years of specialized experience. (Specialized experience is defined as progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, where the majority are specialized in numerous specialized Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions, at least four years of which are concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software)
2. Five (5) years progressive experience administering Middleware solutions (e.g., JBoss Fusion Middleware)
3. At least three years hands-on experience and expertise in Application deployment, testing, tuning and security
4. Experience also shall include capability to work on various operating systems and additional programming languages
5. Has experience in at least two projects in a large organization responsible for administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale application

Education:

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in a technical discipline required
