Stratyx is seeking a Senior System Administrator / DevOps Engineer (Linux/Kubernetes) in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role supports a high-visibility mission environment with a Monday–Friday schedule and coverage across 6a–6p shifts, contributing to productized deployments and automation.

Candidates should have 10+ years of Linux experience (CentOS/RHEL), strong Kubernetes skills, and Security+ or SYS3 familiarity. Python, Ansible, Salt, VMware, and Agile/DevOps experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of Linux systems administration/engineering experience, CentOS/RHEL preferred.
• Kubernetes experience with tooling and container fundamentals required.
• Security+ certification desired; SYS3 Privac level highly beneficial.
• Strong scripting with Bash; Python, Ansible, Salt experience a plus.
• Experience with high-visibility, classified networks is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior Linux system administration and DevOps support in a mission-critical environment.
• Maintain 6a-6p coverage across the team to support 10a-6p shifts; ensure operational uptime.
