Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties. Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience and/or training in system administration and development best practices in AWS development.
• Demonstrated experience and/or training in system administration and development best practices in AWS.
• Demonstrated experience with security and compliance of DoW Gov. Cloud hosted infrastructure.

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an associated field
• 10+ years of IT systems administrative experience with both Microsoft and Linux platforms.
• Two years proficient understanding of maintenance (patching, STIG, and upgrade processes) on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Required Certifications: IAT Level II

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• AWS Solutions Architect certification.
• AWS SysOps Administrator certification.
• Red Hat certification.
• Kubernetes certifications (e.g., CKAD, or similar)
• Experience deploying, managing, and supporting Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Experience operating and maintaining containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity managing Kubernetes resources such as namespaces, deployments, services, ingress, and storage
• Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker)
• 5 years’ experience with CI/CD software development
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (e.g., GitLab, CI/CD tooling)
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or Kustomize
• Familiarity with secrets management tools such as Vault
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or Google Cloud a plus) in Linux environments
