Job Description

Provide detailed technical support for Superficial Venous Interventions (SVI) products and procedures to a wide range of clinical base including physicians, nurses, and technicians. Support sales representatives with customer product training and coverage for critical cases, primarily focused on cases with physicians that require technical support on the safe and effective use of our products.

Responsibilities
  1. Product training for all potential audiences involved in the use and sales of the Closure System and VenaSeal including but not limited to: General & Vascular Surgeons, Cardiovascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, and other physicians treating venous disease.
  2. Provide training on superficial venous ultrasound, the Closure System, Closure Fast, RFS, RFG2, VenaSeal, supporting supplies, and materials required for our procedures, including ultrasound in-services, product in-services, mock cases, case coverage, and participation in field employee training.
  3. Provide case support as needed to drive business.
  4. Train and educate customers on our products and procedures, working with physicians and lab/office staff in case selection.
  5. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
  6. Support territory sales strategy through partnership with sales, in-servicing, market development activities, inventory support, PO collection, and technical case support.
  7. Demonstrate flexibility in supporting technical case coverage.
  8. Provide education and support to CVG sales and clinical counterparts on peripheral products, sharing best practices.
  9. Participate in company-sponsored training/educational offerings.
  10. Build and maintain technical knowledge and skill set.
  11. Provide feedback to R&D regarding product performance and improvements.
  12. Work with the Sales team to develop site-specific sales strategies for Venous Vascular products in the US.
  13. Assist in developing new tools and tactics to enhance sales effectiveness.
  14. Call points include hospitals, surgery centers, and physician offices.
  15. Keep management informed of work schedule and workload changes.
  16. Adhere to financial, regulatory, and quality standards.
Must Have
  • High school degree and 7+ years of clinical experience, OR Associate's degree and 3+ years, OR Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of clinical experience.
Nice to Have
  • Ultrasound and/or Venous experience.
  • Experience as a Registered Vascular Technician (RVT).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and industry.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to build relationships across organizational levels.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification is helpful but not mandatory.
Physical Job Requirements
  • Travel domestically over 50%.
  • Lifting/carrying up to 20 pounds.
  • Sitting, standing, walking 6-8 hours daily.
  • Operate moving vehicle.
Environmental Exposures
  • Wear PPE as required.
  • Work in hospitals, surgical centers, and offices.
  • Travel by car or plane (minimum 80%).
  • Work outside typical hours as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance required.
Benefits & Compensation

Medtronic offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k), incentive plans, and more. Salary range: $102,000 - $111,000. Eligible for sales incentives and additional benefits as outlined.
