Job summary

Highridge Medical seeks a Sustaining Senior Engineer II to lead post‑market activities for spinal implants and instruments. You will guide complex investigations, drive CAPAs, and implement design and process improvements to sustain product performance and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sales to resolve issues and mentor junior engineers while ensuring robust documentation and risk management throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum ABET‑accredited B.S. in Mechanical/ Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in medical device sustaining/manufacturing engineering preferred.
• Experience with spine implants or surgical instruments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustaining projects from issue definition to closure for spinal implants and instruments.
• Provide technical leadership to maintain product availability and quality.
• Conduct complex root-cause investigations and drive CAPAs.
• Prepare engineering change requests and validate design changes.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
