Job summary

Land Point Corp in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Senior Survey Technician / SIT to perform advanced surveying tasks, manage field data, and support project coordination within Operations.

You will work with PLS, mentor junior staff, and interact with clients to ensure project requirements are met. Experience with Civil 3D and boundary surveying is preferred; SIT certification or progress toward licensure is favorable.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Land Surveying or Geomatics preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of drafting experience (Easements and Deed Sketching).
• 5+ years of experience using Civil 3D.
• Strong experience in data processing, quality checks, and deliverables.
• Hands-on field experience with surveying equipment and workflows.
• SIT certification preferred or actively working toward licensure.
• Solid experience with boundary surveying, including research and boundary deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transfer, organization, processing, and analysis of field data with the survey team to maintain data integrity.
• Coordinate with the project team on field package, field procedures, and project lifecycle.
• Utilize advanced software and tools for data processing and analysis.
• Work with a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to learn and analyze final boundary decisions.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced technicians.
• Assist Survey Technicians I & II in task assignments, work scheduling, and project coordination.
• Communicate with clients and project managers to ensure requirements are met and progress is reported.
