Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers seeks an experienced Survey Project Manager in Texas to oversee all facets of land surveying projects. You will lead a team of technicians and field crews, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive budgets, timelines, and quality deliverables.

The role emphasizes mentorship and client communication to assure project success. The ideal candidate is a Registered PLS in the state, with 12+ years of licensed surveying experience and a strong track record in leadership and problem

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and coordinate the work of the local survey department.
Provide guidance to Survey Technicians and Field Crews.
Ensure compliance with state-specific regulatory rules governing professional land surveying.
Prepare detailed project proposals, timelines, and budgets.
Manage project budgets, invoicing, and financial performance.
Perform QA reviews of drawings and descriptions.
Mentor and develop Survey Department staff.
Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Lead resolution of complex survey challenges.
