Overview

Job Title: Survey Project Manager

The Survey Project Manager will oversee large, complex land survey projects while managing multiple project managers. This role requires collaboration with Market Leads and leadership to expand market share and includes serving as a subject matter expert within the industry.

Responsibilities
  • Establish work plans and staffing requirements for multiple large-scale land survey projects.
  • Oversee the writing of scope, budget, and QAQC.
  • Identify, plan, and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency.
  • Review performance data, including financial, budgets, sales, and activity reports, to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress, and activity levels.
  • Monitor and develop professional staff to maximize their potential.
  • Develop RFQs and fee proposals.
  • Collaborate with Market Leads and Market Managers to establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base.
  • Develop and conduct presentations to clients and other critical stakeholders.
  • Effectively interface with sub-consultants and other business relationships.
  • Provide support to other operational units as needed.
  • Represent company interests in meetings and trade shows when necessary.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to manage multiple registered surveyors, technicians, and field crews.
  • Success in business development, marketing, and networking.
  • Experience in contract negotiations, budgets, and fee estimates.
  • Survey, topographic surveys, land development, and survey software proficiency.
  • Experience working with Trimble Survey Equipment.
  • Professional License preferred.

This position operates in an office environment from Monday to Friday. Pay and Benefits
