Job summary

Thomas & Hutton seeks a seasoned Surveying professional to lead boundary, topographic, and subdivision surveys for diverse public and private projects in the Southeast. You will mentor field crews, oversee maps and legal descriptions, and ensure compliance with surveying standards while managing schedules, budgets, and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; PLS license preferred where applicable.
• Georgia or South Carolina Professional Land Surveyor license preferred.
• 5+ years of land surveying, subdivision mapping, and topographic mapping experience.
• Proficiency with Carlson Survey software and GPS equipment; strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage boundary, topographic, and subdivision surveys for public/private projects.
• Prepare Topographic Maps, Boundary Adjustments, and legal descriptions.
• Direct field crews and ensure quality project execution.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
• Advise engineering teams on surveying tasks and requirements.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout delivery.
