Job summary

Pennoni in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Survey Division Manager to lead our surveying team on a full-time basis. You will supervise field/land surveying operations, review and seal technical documents, and ensure QA/QC across plans, descriptions, and layouts.

The role requires 8+ years in field surveying, 2+ years in project management, and active PLS in NC. Travel to field sites is occasional; strong client relationships and proposal support are valued.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience working in Field / Land Surveying.
• 2+ years of professional experience in land surveying project management.
• Active Professional Land Surveyor’s [PLS] credential in NC.

Responsibilities

• Provide management & administrative support services for surveying operations including boundary, title, ALTA, topographic, aerial, utility locations and Right-of-Way surveys.
• Review, approve, and seal technical documents (calculations & drawings).
• Perform QA/QC review of all survey documents (plans, record plots, descriptions, layouts).
• Conduct project site visits and field observations as needed.
• Guide internal departments on survey-related project barriers.
• Track financial performance of the group.
