Accura Engineering is seeking a Senior Survey CAD Manager to define, implement, and maintain CAD standards across multiple projects. You will coordinate CAD needs with Project Managers and staff, ensure QA/QC, and process field data into finished survey drawings.

The role requires 8+ years with AutoCAD, 5+ years in land surveying, and strong leadership to guide junior CAD staff. The position supports a collaborative, fast-paced environment and offers competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Technical Drafting (Preferred) or Comparable 4 Year Degree.
• 8+ years of AutoCAD experience.
• 5+ years of land surveying experience.
• 5+ years of managing Junior CAD Technician.
• Experience with GDOT deliverables.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.

Responsabilités

• :Ensure CAD Technicians are trained and follow established CAD standards
• Manage CAD software licenses and updates as well as CAD training
• Manage general QA/QC of CAD work performed by CAD Staff
• Process daily field survey data using Civil 3D/Carlson and/or MicroStation to develop finished survey drawings
• Develop 3D digital terrain models from field data using InRoads/OpenRoads
• Familiarize with CAD standards of government agencies (e.g., GDOT) to ensure compliance
• Occasional field assistance to confirm drawings reflect field conditions and aid in developing registered land surveyor skills
• Coordinate with office staff and clients as required
