Job summary

Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles is seeking a Surgical Technologist III to support operating room teams. You will prepare rooms, arrange instruments, and assist surgeons during procedures while ensuring patient safety and equipment readiness.

You will collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and physicians, maintain competency, and mentor junior staff. A high school diploma and BLS are required; CST is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Three (3) years surgical procedures experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork with surgeons and nurses.

Responsibilities

• Prepares operating rooms for surgery and assists with turnover.
• Assists surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies.
• Maintains instrument sterilization and readiness of supplies.
• Demonstrates leadership and mentors STI and STII staff.
