Qualifications

• Successfully completed training as a surgical technician at an accredited school.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist credential required at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required at hire.
• 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technician in Operating Room.

Responsibilities

• Review preference lists and prepare supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Perform surgical scrubbing and prepare back table with sterile instrumentation.
• Support intra-operatively by anticipating surgeon needs and passing instruments.
• Handle decontamination and return unused supplies after case.
