The University of Texas Medical Branch is seeking a Senior Surgical Technologist to provide expert technical assistance to the surgical team before, during, and after operations. You will help ensure a safe operating room, proper instrument function, and patient safety throughout invasive procedures.

Based at UTMB Health in Webster, TX, the role supports surgeons and nurses, maintains equipment readiness, and contributes to efficient case flow in a busy surgical suite.

Formación

• Five years of related experience in the field of surgical technology
• Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program
• High school graduate or GED

• Senior Surgical Technologist provides advanced level technical assistance to the surgical team before, during, and following surgery. Expertly assists in surgical operations under the supervision of the surgeons and registered nurses to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe, that the equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.
