Job summary

Broward Health North in Deerfield Beach, FL seeks a Surgical Technologist to provide complex technical support during nursing care of the surgical patient under RN supervision, across all specialties.

Evening shift, full-time (FTE 1.0). Requirements: high school Diploma or GED, graduation from a surgical tech program, at least 1 year of relevant experience, Certified Surgical Technologist credential, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved technical/vocational program for surgical technicians.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Certified Surgical Technologists
• American Heart or Red Cross BLS (current)

Responsibilities

• Provides complex technical support during nursing care of the surgical patient under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Adheres to the standards of practice and policies of the hospital and the department to ensure effective department services.
