Job summary

Q.E.D. Systems seeks a Lead Instructor to support a Surface Ship Training contract. You will oversee course development, deliver training to Surface Warfare personnel, and ensure consistency across all training sites.

The ideal candidate will have commanded a U.S. surface ship at O-5/O-6 level, with recent Fleet maintenance policy experience. You will collaborate with the Program Manager and COR to review performance and drive program improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading instructor teams in a defense or naval environment.
• Ability to develop and update training curricula for surface ship maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of Surface Ship Training content across sites.
• Ensure training courses are consistent and meet contract requirements.
• Interface with Program Manager (PM) and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) monthly on performance and schedule.
• Provide process-improvement recommendations to TYCOM staff.
