Paragon Social Care Limited is opening a brand-new two-bed children’s home near Spalding, and we’re seeking a Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker to join from day one. You’ll help set the standard, lead shifts and support the team in delivering high-quality care.
In this lead role you’ll oversee day-to-day care for two young people, guide staff, and ensure safeguarding, consistent routines and strong relationships are at the core of every shift.
We’re opening a brand-new, two-bed children’s home near Spalding and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker to become a key part of the team from day one.
This isn’t a huge residential service with endless staff, multiple units and dozens of moving parts.
It’s a small home supporting a maximum of two young people, with a close-knit staff team and a clear focus on providing outstanding, consistent care.
If you’re an experienced Children’s Residential Support Worker or Senior who knows what good care looks like and wants more responsibility, a strong salary and the chance to help shape a new home from the beginning, we want to hear from you.
That gives you a potential first-year package of up to £45,186.
Our Spalding home is a brand-new, small two-bed children’s residential home, supporting young people with EBD, SEMH, trauma and complex needs.
Our approach is therapeutic, trauma-informed and relationship-based, incorporating:
With only two young people, staff have the time and opportunity to build genuine relationships, provide consistent support and make a meaningful difference.
We want the home to feel exactly like that — a home, not an institution.
As a Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker, you’ll be an important part of the leadership of the home.
You won’t simply be there to complete shifts.
You’ll help set the standard.
Working closely with the Registered Manager, you’ll support and guide the staff team while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day care of the young people.
Your responsibilities will include:
Most importantly, you'll help create an environment where young people feel safe, valued, understood and supported to progress.
We’re looking for someone with genuine experience in children’s residential care who is confident taking the lead on shift.
You might already be working as a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or Senior Residential Childcare Worker.
Or you may be an experienced Children’s Residential Support Worker who is ready to take that next step.
You’ll need to be:
A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, or equivalent, would be desirable.
Experience supporting young people with EBD, SEMH, trauma and complex behaviours would also be advantageous.
Because we want good people — and we believe good people should be properly rewarded.
If you’re already a Senior Residential Support Worker looking for a fresh start — or an experienced Support Worker who knows you’re ready for more responsibility — this is a fantastic opportunity to join a new service from the beginning.
We’re looking for people with energy, resilience, personality and high standards.
People who genuinely care about the young people they support.
And people who want to be part of building a really good children’s home.
