Job description

We are seeking a skilled Cerner Applications Specialist with hands-on experience across multiple Cerner modules.
The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Scheduling, Registration, Charges flow, Power Orders/Power Plan, CCL, and data integration across Cerner systems.
This role involves configuration, optimization, troubleshooting, and support for clinical and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Scheduling & Registration:

• Configure and optimize scheduling templates and slots.
• Manage patient intake workflows and registration data accuracy.
• Lead validation and testing of scheduling and registration processes

Charges Flow & Revenue Cycle:

• Build and maintain charge transfer workflows between encounters.
• Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate billing and pricing tool configurations

Power Orders & Power Plans:

• Create and modify PowerPlans from scratch using Cerner tools.
• Support clinical teams in placing and managing orders effectively.
• Troubleshoot issues related to order visibility and placement

CCL (Cerner Command Language):

• Develop and maintain CCL reports including Discern Analytics and Visual Developer outputs.
• Support compliance and operational reporting needs

Data Flow Across Modules:

• Ensure seamless integration between Cerner modules such as SurgiNet, Anesthesia, Pharmacy, Lab, and Registration.
• Support interface development and incident resolution across modules
