Job summary

King Technology, a Minnesota-based innovator in water care solutions, seeks a Senior Supply Planner to own supply planning across internal and contract manufacturing partners. Translate demand into executable plans, identify risks, and drive mitigation to align demand, inventory, and capability.

This role requires 7–10+ years in production or supply planning, strong ERP experience, and advanced analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7–10+ years of production or supply planning experience in complex environments.
• Experience with contract manufacturing and multi-level BOMs.
• Deep understanding of APS, MRP, ATP, and constrained planning.
• ERP system experience (Infor, SAP, Oracle or similar).
• Advanced Excel and analytical capability (Power BI preferred).
• Decision making under uncertainty with incomplete data.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Own production planning and supply decisions for complex product lines and contract manufacturers.
• Translate demand signals into executable plans aligned with priorities and constraints.
• Identify supply risks and define mitigation actions before impacting service levels.
• Lead recovery planning for critical supply gaps and constraints.
• Drive scenario planning and evaluate trade-offs between service, cost, inventory, and capacity.
• Prioritize production and supply allocation in constrained environments.
• Connect raw material availability to finished goods risks and upstream/downstream impacts.
• Leverage ERP/APS systems, challenge outputs, and improve planning parameters.
• Define inventory strategy, target levels, and risk mitigation.
• Lead cross-functional alignment across Production, Sourcing, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
• Provide risk visibility and leadership-ready recommendations.
• Support IBP with supply scenarios and risk assessments.
• Contribute to New Product Development and product transitions.
• Improve planning discipline, data quality, and system utilization.
