Job summary

Leoforce, a consumer products manufacturer, seeks a Senior Supply Planning & Materials Manager to strengthen production planning, materials management, and inventory performance. You will partner with manufacturing, procurement, customer service, and IT to align schedules with demand and ensure materials are available when needed.

Lead production and materials planning, build schedules, BOMs, and inventory targets, while coordinating launches and minimizing obsolete inventory.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, materials planning, and inventory management within manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, production scheduling, and bills of materials.
• Ability to translate forecasts and customer requirements into practical plant schedules and inventory plans.
• Experience improving cross-functional processes and supporting system implementations.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work closely with plant operations and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead production and materials planning across manufacturing operations, balancing demand, capacity, inventory, and service goals.
• Build and maintain production schedules, material plans, BOMs, and inventory targets.
• Coordinate new product launches, packaging changes, and promotional transitions while limiting obsolete inventory.
• Resolve material shortages and schedule changes with plant teams, suppliers, and customer service.
• Improve planning processes, reporting, and system adoption; partner with IT on ERP/MRP enhancements.
• Develop planning procedures, train users, and track performance through service, inventory, and schedule adherence metrics.
