Job summary

Jobtailor in Utah is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner to coordinate production schedules and manage manufacturing work orders, ensuring timeliness and efficient use of resources.

You will analyze MRP demands, adjust schedules, collaborate with Supervisors and Customer Service, and mentor junior planners while improving RCCP vs Weekly Build plans.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of supply chain experience.
• Demonstrated computer skills; preferably spreadsheets, word processing, CoPilot, and other applicable software programs.
• Experience with manufacturing work orders on Teach Teams or Value Stream Structure.
• Demonstrated experience with tracking and reviewing reports.
• Expert level Blue Yonder skills.
• APICS.
• Experience with MPR Planning tools.
• Knowledge of S&OP structure.
• Absorption and efficiency reporting.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for coordinating and managing production schedules to ensure timely completion of manufacturing work orders.
• Assists with adjusting the Master Production Schedule to ensure timeliness regarding scheduling issues.
• Assists with evaluating weekly MRP demands and is responsible for determining scheduling deadlines and inventory quantities.
• Responds to system MPS/MRP recommendations and adjusts manufacturing schedule(s) accordingly.
• Interfaces with Supervisors and Customer Service and resolves concerns regarding schedules, orders, and special needs.
• Evaluates ERP customer orders and solves back‑order issues.
• Prepares weekly production reports, adjusts manufacturing schedule, resolves concerns regarding scheduling orders and special needs.
• Analyzes RCCP vs Weekly Build plans.
• Attends daily operations meeting.
• Collaborates with Supply Planners.
• Evaluates workload and provides mentoring to Supply planner II.
