S3, Inc. is seeking a Senior Supply Management Specialist to support efforts in Arlington, VA. This position is contingent on award of contract.
Military experience is a plus. This is not a teleworking position.
The Senior Supply Management Specialist will support the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports and Cooperation (DASA-DEC).
Responsibilities:
Assist in the management of DASA DEC government property to ensure compliance with applicable Army property management regulations.
Property management includes but is not limited to issuing equipment to DASA DEC, and select contract personnel, receiving equipment from suppliers, ensuring property is appropriately accounted for on hand receipts, and disposal of excess and/or unserviceable equipment.
Responsible for the management of expendable supplies and maintaining an accurate inventory of supplies on hand, coordinate with the directorates to address supply shortfalls.
Assist Government personnel with review of Government Purchase Card purchase requests submitted to the government purchase card holder to restore expendable supply levels.
Responsible for supporting DASA DEC’s record management to ensure compliance with US Government, DoD, and Army records management policies and procedures.
Performs duties involving supply requests, receipt, storage, issue, ordering accountability and preservation of individual, organizational and installation equipment.
Assists to maintain automated supply system for accounting of organizational equipment and supplies.
Assists to maintains all administrative supply and supporting document files.
Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years’ of experience with the US Army property management system.
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Completion of Basic or Intermediate Security Cooperation certification is highly desirable.
Have experience managing a Government Purchase Card (GPC).
Have experience managing Work Orders for the US Government, DoD, or US Army.
