Qualifications

• Five to seven years of progressive supply chain, procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or material-planning experience. Manufacturing experience required.
• Experience sourcing chemicals, packaging components, or technically specified materials strongly preferred.
• ERP experience required; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and supplier management for chemicals, raw materials, packaging components, equipment, and indirect purchases.
• Own the sourcing of chemicals and packaging required for R&D, customer samples, product development, production trials, and commercialization.
• Develop sourcing strategies that improve cost, quality, service, lead time, and supplier reliability.
• Strengthen demand planning, material planning, MRP, and inventory-management processes.
• Reduce shortages, excess inventory, obsolescence, and unnecessary working-capital investment.
• Evaluate suppliers and sourcing decisions using total cost of ownership rather than purchase price alone.
• Extract, clean, manipulate, and analyze data from ERP and other business systems.
• Develop reports, dashboards, models, and scenario analyses that identify trends and support business decisions.
• Translate complex or imperfect data into clear conclusions and actionable recommendations.
• Lead and develop the Supply Chain and Purchasing team.
• Collaborate with R&D, Production, Quality, Regulatory, Warehouse, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance.
