Role Description:
Plan national production for assigned product lines produced at co-pack sites, in a cost-effective manner. Ensure finished goods are moved to appropriate distribution points to ensure customer service goals are met. Additionally, execute other supply chain functions, such as tracking transfer orders by monitoring warehouse and transportation performance, monitoring age of products, run frequency, made-to-order management, and KPI reporting. Must become proficient with planning tools and systems. In addition, this position will monitor inventories of raw materials and finished goods at co-pack sites to ensure proper rotation, availability, and inventory levels. The flow of materials through the system is complex, the projects are innovative, and the processes for reporting and planning are evolving, which requires a person with strong analytical abilities as well as the ability to work effectively cross-functionally across organizations to ensure material availability, freshness, and accountability. Lead waste mitigation efforts and special projects for assigned product categories.
