Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager on the outbound transportation planning team. This role leads short-term and high-volume event planning for Canada (Amazon.ca) and engages with senior leaders to provide volume plans and recommendations.

You will work with demand planning, middle and last mile leads, and external partners to optimize capacity, coverage, and network design while leveraging AI to improve accuracy and reduce cycle times. This position is based in Bellevue, WA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the weekly planning process including input gathering, modeling, and communication of plans to downstream teams.
• Engage with demand planning to understand and align on topline demand and confidence intervals.
• Partner with Middle and Last mile leads to understand changes in each component of the transportation plans.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders to evaluate carrier capacity, network design, and shipment plans impacting transportation.
• Understand and project the impact of demand and capacity scenarios for HVEs and share with leadership.
• Leverage AI and automation to improve plan accuracy and cycle time.
• Drive tool or process improvements with tech teams.
