A global leader in the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem is looking for a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Risk to build the company's first truly integrated, end-to-end supply chain risk program.
This is a program-building role at a pivotal moment. The company's supply base is scaling rapidly, and the complexity of managing geopolitical, financial, capacity, and sustainability risk across a global supplier network demands a dedicated leader with vision, structure, and the ability to operate across functions without direct authority.
The incoming leader will consolidate fragmented risk intelligence into a single, executive-ready operating system for supply chain risk — influencing how category managers build sourcing strategies and how senior leadership makes investment decisions.
This role has been explicitly scoped as a successor-track position, with a defined path toward Director.
Build and govern the company's supplier risk management framework across a global direct supply base. Stand up a risk register, define escalation thresholds and mitigation playbooks, and consolidate risk tools and methodologies currently spread across the organization.
Partner with category and supplier managers to assess supplier‑specific risk — financial health, geopolitical exposure, capacity, operational resilience, and sustainability. Identify and drive mitigation strategies including alternate sourcing, dual sourcing, inventory buffering, and regional diversification. Audit supplier Business Continuity Plans and drive corrective action where gaps exist.
Lead the Supply Chain Sustainability team and own programs including RBA compliance, Conflict Minerals reporting, supplier emissions tracking, and related regulatory initiatives.
Deliver executive‑ready dashboards, risk summaries, and quarterly program reviews to senior leadership. Translate complex, ambiguous risk signals into clear, decision‑ready visibility for the business.
Industry background: Semiconductor experience is not required. Candidates from automotive, defense, pharma, industrial, or other complex manufacturing environments are strongly encouraged to apply.
