Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, planning, and inventory for a high-growth manufacturing organization in Milwaukee. You will manage BOMs, electronics sourcing, and supplier partnerships in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in supply chain, aerospace/defense experience, and proven leadership. Expect ownership of KPIs, cost reductions, and a path for advancement within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain management in engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience managing direct reports in supply chain and operations.
• Experience in Aerospace/Defense industry is required.
• Experience managing multi-level BOMs and sourcing electronic components.
• Proficient in production planning, warehouse mgmt, cost reduction, inventory control, shipping/receiving.
• Strong knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end supply chain including production planning, warehousing, inventory, and logistics.
• Procure electronic components, PCB materials, assemblies, and indirect materials.
• Develop cost reduction strategies to improve profitability and delivery timelines.
• Ensure compliance with FAR and DFAR in all activities.
• Forecast demand and prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline operations and improve performance.
• Establish and monitor KPIs; take corrective actions as needed.
• Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate favorable contracts.
• Train and mentor staff to foster continuous improvement.

Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, planning, and inventory operations for a manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing high-volume, multi-level BOMs, sourcing electronic components, and building strategic supplier partnerships in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in production planning, warehouse management, inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
• Manage procurement of electronic components, PCB materials, assemblies, and indirect materials.
• Develop and implement cost reduction strategies to maximize profitability without sacrificing product quality or delivery timelines.
• Ensure compliance with FAR and D-FAR regulations in all supply chain activities.
• Forecast demand to ensure the availability of products and resources, taking proactive measures to avoid supply shortages or excess inventory.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve the supply chain process.
• Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance, taking corrective action as needed.
• Establish strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts to secure advantageous terms.
• Train and mentor supply chain staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management in the Engineering industry, with a proven track record of success.
• Must have experience managing direct reports with supply chain and operations.
• Aerospace/Defense industry experience is a must.
• Experience managing complex multi-level BOMs and electronic component sourcing.
• Proficient in production planning, warehouse management, cost reduction strategies, inventory control, and shipping and receiving.
• Strong knowledge of FAR and D-FAR regulations.
• Proficient in supply chain management software and tools.
• Strong commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity.
