Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Fullerton, CA is hiring a Supply Chain Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret data across global supply chain operations.

You will own demand planning, build data pipelines in SQL/Python, and develop dashboards to track KPIs with cross-functional teams. You will drive automation, implement data visualization tools, and manage MRP inventory controls to minimize shortages and financial impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an analytically focused discipline.
• 5 to 7 years related experience.
• Strong analytical skills applicable to supply chain measurement and business process improvement.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, pandas, NumPy for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with statistical forecasting.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• High proficiency using Excel and Word.
• Strong knowledge of MRP and Inventory Control practices.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Change management skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end demand planning and forecasting requirements and processes.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources using SQL and Python.
• Create databases, dashboards, and reports to track KPIs and metrics.
• Identify trends and anomalies and provide actionable recommendations.
• Drive automation projects with cross-functional teams of engineers and designers.
• Collaborate with operations, logistics, and engineering to align data needs with business goals.
• Develop and implement data visualization tools to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Manage inventory control reorder points within the MRP system to support production planning.
• Minimize material shortages and the financial impact of inventory.
• Improve cross-functional communication and decision making.
• Implement strategies to improve work-in-process aging and root-cause analysis.
