Job summary

MITER Brands in North Venice, FL is seeking a Senior Buyer/Planner to bridge daily purchasing with strategic supply planning. You will manage supplier performance, monitor inventory, and support production needs across multiple lines.

The role requires a BA/BS in business or related field, 3–5 years in planning or buying in manufacturing, and preferred APICS/ISM certification. You will optimize total acquisition costs and lead S&OP efforts in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• APICS or ISM Certification preferred.
• Three to five years planning or buying in a high-volume manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Controls inventory levels to minimize investment while maintaining service levels.
• Represents SCM at site level for purchasing and material planning.
• Collaborates with strategic purchasing to manage supply base and minimize risk.
• Drives supplier relationship management to improve visibility and future needs.
• Reviews and processes purchase orders and expedites deliveries to meet schedules.
• Analyzes raw materials, WIP, and FG inventory activity.
