MITER Brands in North Venice, FL is seeking a Senior Buyer/Planner to bridge daily purchasing operations with strategic supply planning. You will manage supplier performance, optimize inventory, and drive cost-effective sourcing across production lines.

The role requires 3–5 years in planning/buying in high-volume manufacturing, a Bachelor's in business or related field, and knowledge of APICS/Lean concepts. APICS/ISM certification preferred and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field.
• APICS or ISM Certification preferred.
• Three to five years planning or buying in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge and ability to deploy APICS, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, and Lean Manufacturing concepts.

Responsabilités

• Controls inventory levels across the site to minimize inventory investment while providing maximum customer service levels.
• Collaborates with strategic purchasing to identify and manage supply base to maximize mutual benefit and minimize risk.
• Drives supplier relationship management to improve sharing of information and supply visibility.
• Reviews and completes purchase orders and contacts suppliers to place orders.
• Expedites delivery of purchased items to meet schedules.
• Prepares spend activity reports as directed.
• Analyzes data related to inventory activity.
• Verify data accuracy in MRP and part costs.
