Job summary

fairlife, LLC in Chicago is seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Engineer to lead design, development, and optimization of analytics solutions, reporting frameworks, and planning tools across the supply chain.

You will own the strategic network model and drive Lyric-based planning capabilities. The role requires strong SQL, Power BI, and Python skills; ERP familiarity; and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations for cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 4+ years in analytics, supply chain, or operations with hands-on reporting
• Strong SQL skills; optimize complex queries
• Power BI proficiency; data modeling and DAX knowledge
• Python for data manipulation/automation is a plus
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Dynamics 365/NetSuite)
• Exposure to planning platforms (Lyric, Anaplan) and network design/optimization
• Advanced Excel with scenario modeling
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
• Self-motivated with a growth mindset

Responsibilities

• Lead buildout and enhancement of Lyric-based planning capabilities (supply, production, demand)
• Own design and maintenance of the strategic network model for scenario analysis and capacity planning
• Develop analytical tools, reports, and dashboards in Power BI for actionable insights
• Create scalable SQL queries to support reporting and planning tooling
• Collaborate with Data & Decision Intelligence to define data requirements and integrate data sources
• Explore predictive analytics and ML techniques to improve planning accuracy
• Perform additional duties to support business objectives
