Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) is seeking a candidate for the Component Quality & Reliability team to drive supplier quality from concept to end-of-life. You will manage supplier interfaces, lead 8D activities, and ensure DFM compliance across AMD’s complex product lines.

The role requires strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, and travel ~25% internationally. A BS/MS in a related field is preferred, with extensive experience in manufacturing quality control and supplier

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience in manufacturing and quality control for electronics components and boards.
• Experience developing process quality plans and supplier quality audits.
• Ability to drive 8D root cause and corrective actions and reliability testing.
• Supplier-facing experience building cross-functional relationships.
• Hands-on process capability analysis and measurement system analysis.
• Strong project management in a global matrix organization.
• Experience with international OEMs and contract manufacturers.

Aufgaben

• Lead the supplier interface for key component suppliers across all AMD business units.
• Lead and drive resolution of supplier quality and reliability excursions, with root cause, containment and corrective actions.
• Develop and drive supplier compliance with AMD component specification requirements.
• Lead mass production readiness reviews of key supplier manufacturing facilities and participate in on-site audits.
• Define KPIs and measure/outgoing supplier quality from development to MP readiness.
• Ensure alignment between design and operations to meet AMD DFM requirements.
• Travel internationally to supplier sites ~25% of the time.
