Job summary

Hyper Solutions Inc is seeking a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer in the Richmond, VA area. The role focuses on ensuring quality and reliability of supplier materials, coordinating with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing to drive corrective actions and improve supplier performance.

The successful candidate will lead SCARs, support supplier qualification for new product introductions, and develop supplier scorecards and quality reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related technical field required.
• Minimum 3 years of supplier quality, manufacturing quality, and supplier development experience.
• Experience with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Cross-functional collaboration with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier quality performance to ensure materials meet Hyper specifications and quality standards.
• Lead supplier corrective action processes (SCAR) and root cause investigations.
• Conduct supplier quality audits and evaluate manufacturing processes and QC plans.
• Support supplier qualification, onboarding, and approval processes.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve process capability and defect prevention.
• Track supplier performance metrics and drive improvement initiatives.
• Work with procurement and engineering to resolve supplier-related quality issues.
