Job summary

Teleflex Incorporated is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer III to lead supplier quality activities, driving performance and risk management across suppliers. The role partners with cross‑functional teams to support new product introductions, design transfers, and seamless supplier integration while ensuring compliance with global quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulated medical devices, experience with audits, and data‑driven problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related technical discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in a regulated medical devices environment.
• Strong knowledge of 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, ISO 9001.
• Experience with problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Experience with statistical techniques for quality improvement.
• Experience with supplier audits; third-party certification preferred.
• Professional certification (e.g., ASQ CQE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier quality performance and alignment with quality objectives.
• Lead supplier qualification and approval activities with risk assessment.
• Develop supplier capability with quality and risk-reduction initiatives.
• Lead resolution of supplier quality issues and SCARs.
• Support new product introductions and design transfers.
• Analyze supplier performance data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
