Job summary

IREN is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, Liquid Cooling and Power, to own supplier quality for liquid cooling and power hardware in its AI data centers. The role collaborates with engineering, sourcing, supply chain operations, and data center teams to meet cost, quality, and reliability targets at scale.

The position requires a strong background in supplier audits, PPAP/FAI, and reliability testing, with travel to supplier and partner sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years in supplier quality or related areas for liquid cooling, power, or data center hardware.
• Experience qualifying suppliers, audits, and First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Knowledge of liquid cooling and power delivery technologies and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier quality strategy for liquid cooling and power hardware from qualification to volume production.
• Qualify new suppliers and contract manufacturers via audits and FAI.
• Define QA standards and acceptance criteria for liquid and power components.
• Lead root cause analysis of leaks and failures across data center projects.
• Drive SCAR, CAPA, and SPC processes with suppliers to meet targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and reliability.
• Maintain supplier quality documentation, BOMs, and engineering changes in PLM.
