Job summary

Google seeks a Supplier Quality Engineering Manager to lead a multifaceted team responsible for ensuring robust manufacturing processes and repeatable quality across supplier parts. You will guide design reviews and coordinate with Product Directors and Design Engineers to align Google's foundation requirements with product specifications.

You will drive complex projects, allocate resources, and mentor engineers while traveling as needed to ensure supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related field (Quality/Engineering).
• At least 3 years of experience in Quality, Reliability, or Product Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in people management.
• Strong collaboration, leadership, communication and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Electromechanical, Optics, OEM Systems / provider quality designers.
• Drive technical projects and provide leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Mitigate quality/reliability risks through supplier management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure thorough investigations, enable second sourcing, travel as needed.
