Job summary

Laborie in Portsmouth, NH, seeks a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality programs and ensure materials meet all quality standards. This role focuses on evaluating suppliers, overseeing quality systems, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

You will implement ISO13485 and 21 CFR compliant processes, perform risk assessments, audits, and supplier evaluations, and collaborate with engineering and procurement to mitigate risks and uphold product integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in quality assurance.
• Expertise in ISO 13485 and 21 CFR quality systems.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Significant auditing experience.

Who We’re Looking For:

As a key member of the Quality Team , the Senior Supplier Quality Engineer will be to manage product quality through the implementation of supplier/contract manufacturer evaluation procedures, use of risk management tools, and auditing of current and prospective vendors.

About the Role:

Identify and manage the risks associated with supplied materials through the following activities:

• Maintain and implement quality system procedures for supplier evaluation.
• Use risk management tools to identify and mitigate supplier risks.
• Participate in the supplier selection and monitoring process.
• Audit current or future suppliers to ensure their compliance to quality system requirements & material specifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors' degree in an engineering or related scientific field and a minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance.
• Expertise in ISO 13485 and 21CFR compliant quality systems.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Significant experience and expertise with internal and external auditing.

Technical Skills

• Expertise applying statistical methods to quality assurance.
• Ability to advise others on complex matters.
• Knowledge of system integrations, workflow automation, and digital HR solutions.
